What's the Online eVisa for Uganda?
The Uganda online eVisa is an electronic visa for visitors to Uganda, issued through an unique online application system. After submitted traveller will have to pick it up in the chosen immigratio Office.

The Online eVisa can perfeclty be obtained by completing the online application with personal information, travel details, passport data and some security questions.

Uganda eVisa Conditions
The following important information relates to the eVisa for Uganda that request online visa:

This electronic visa for Uganda allows their holders to visit the country for a maximum period of ninety (90) days.
The eVisa can be a single-entry or a mulitple-entry visa that allows its holder to enter and exit Uganda.
The validity of a tourist visa to enter Uganda State is within a month from the intended date of entry indicated during the application.

Requirements for Uganda eVisa
For travelling to Uganda with an eVisa, foreign nationals must meet all the following requirements:

Any of the applicants must either be a citizen of one of the eligible countries.
The applicant must have a valid method of payment to make the online visa fee payment. Usually a valid credit card is enough.
Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months at the time of arrival in Uganda.

Important Information about the Uganda Online eVisa

eVisa holders will be informed via email of any update about the status of their application.
Information provided on application must match exactly with the one on the passport used when traveling.
Once the application is submitted it will be studied by an Immigration Officer.
The decision taken on the application will be sent electronically through the email provided by the applicant.
With the approval letter, the applicant should go to the chosen Immigration office to provide biometrical data, and pick up the final eVisa.
Upon arrival travelers will be requested to present their eVisa document at the border control checkpoint.
Travelers are always recommended to keep a printed copy of the eVisa reference number with them at all times during their stay.
The duration of stay of the eVisa holder may not exceed the designated 90-day period.

Additional evidence requirements:
In addition to the personal information and the previous travel details, applicants may be required to provide the following documents by email:

  • A scanned copy of the biographical page of the current valid passport
  • Vaccination Certificate (Yellow Fever)
  • Recent Passport-size Photograph

Requirements to enter Uganda

When foreign natonals reach Uganda, it is imperative they present the following upon arrival:

  • A passport valid for at least six (6) months from the arrival date in Kuwait
  • The approved Uganda Visa

Please keep in mind that at the end of the process we will require from you the following documents depending on the kind of visa you just ordered.

For Tourist Visa:

  • Scan of your Passport picture in .jpg or .pdf
  • Scan of your Passport-Size Photograph in .jpg or .pdf
  • Scan of your Vaccination Certificate (Yellow Fever) in .jpg or .pdf

For Transit Visa:

  • Scan of your Passport Copy in .jpg or .pdf
  • Scan of your Passport-Size Photograph in .jpg or .pdf
  • Scan of your Vaccination Certificate (Yellow Fever) in .jpg or .pdf
  • Letter stating reason for transit and country of destination

For Multiple Entry Visa:

  • Scan of your Passport Copy in .jpg or .pdf
  • Scan of your Passport-Size Photograph in .jpg or .pdf
  • Scan of your Vaccination Certificate (Yellow Fever) in .jpg or .pdf
  • Police clearance of Interpol from Home Country
  • Recommendation Letters from 2 referees in Uganda
  • Cover Letter stating reasons for Multiple Entry
